Marjua Estevez is one of the most influential writers and corresponders within the Latin, Hip Hop, and overall music culture that surrounds us. She is the editor for Latin Culture & Content at TIDAL, and has a long resume to add to her notoriety. Just to name a few, she has worked as Associate Editor at Billboard Latin, Senior Editor at VIBE, Social Media Manager at HipHopWired.com , and she was also a News Writer at XXL Magazine.
Maricarmen “Mari” Lopez has one hand on the pulse of pop culture and the other in the preservation of hip-hop culture. The Cuban-American Television Executive and Artist Manager has several production credits, most notably on cable’s most watched docu-franchise “Love & Hip Hop.” Mari is also 1/3 of Slick Rick’s management team, the most successful British rapper in history.
With a background in music and over six years in television, Mari Lopez has not only been a part of the fabric that launched one of television’s most successful & longest running franchises, but has given a platform to artists, especially women in music, like Cardi B, Amara La Negra, Trina and Mariah Lynn.
Rachel Hislop is a New York City native, a writer, an editor and a digital professional.
She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of OkayPlayer.com and OkayAfrica.com, and has previously served as Digital Content Manager for Parkwood Entertainment—the management company founded by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter—where she spearheaded digital content and social media strategy, everything from the self-titled album cycle and visual opus Lemonade to The Formation World Tour and On The Run Tour. A prominent media voice, she held the position of Style Editor at Global Grind from February 2013-March 2014, and has also written for the likes of Nylon, Refinery 29, Paris-based WAD Magazine, and Heat Free Hair Blog.
Danielle McDowell hails from Miami, and currently resides in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. She's a digital marketer with over seven years of music industry experience. She got her start as an intern at Def Jam and has since worked at Music World Entertainment, Music Choice, and now Columbia Records, where she is the Digital Marketing Director. She oversees digital and social media strategy for a vast roster of artists, including Solange, Chole x Halle, Remy Ma, Ayo & Teo and more. She has also been a part of some of the biggest album roll outs this decade, including Beyonce, Adele, and J.Cole. Aside from growing her career at the label, she also founded "Pass the Aux Party", an interactive event series that empowers everyone to become their inner - DJ!
Tangina Stone, Singer-Songwriter on IMG Records, has been praised by the likes of Billboard, Noisey - Poland, Fader, CBC Canada, and a slew of other notable sources. Following the release of her first full-length album Elevate in 2017, which received rave reviews, debuting at #27 on the iTunes Top R&B Albums chart and at #44 on Apple Music Japan Top R&B Albums chart, in 2018 Tangina headlined festivals, toured Japan, London and has been able to gig freely across the U.S. with her band thanks to her partnership with Spirit Airlines.
What's next for Tangina?? This WNDR WMN is currently working on her second, anticipated full-length album for a 2019 release and has a series of singles & collaborative projects releasing fall/ winter 2018!
Iris House was founded by and for women living with HIV. Though their mission and scope of services have broadened ensuring that the women in our communities can advocate for themselves, manage their own health care challenges and balance their own needs with those of their families, they are still committed to ensuring that HIV+ women have as many supportive and wraparound services possible. They offer several nutrition and cooking classes each week to help clients learn how to manage co-morbidities such as cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity that can present health challenges to people living with HIV.
WNDR WMN will be collecting non-perishable items and monetary donations for the Iris House.
